Cakes are easier than painting

Shouts from the other room go something like this . . two minutes girls and mum will you be ready?
The actual answer is no. I'm reading a book about blogging and investigating new blogs. My first discovery is one called theblackapple.typepad.com - full of amazing pictures - simple and gentle yet the subjects all have a wistful, lost look. If only I could paint.
