can you ever have too many sweet peas ?

I had an old pot that needed something in it so with a few bamboo sticks and some string / jute type stuff I made a spiderweb around the poles.  Then I filled the tub with a whole packet of sweet peas.  I didn't expect so many to germinate.  But as you can see the tub is squashed full of them.  Now I must feed regularly to get a floral result.  My father reckons that when the flowers start, pick daily and they will flower all summer long.

And so I look forward to balmy summer nights on the balcony, watching the moon set and the sea lap the shores and smell the beautiful scent of sweet peas.
